Procyon is proud to announce that the website www.healthm8.net, designed by Procyon in partnership with Northamptonshire Healthy Schools Award Scheme, has been short listed for the national Sony AV award 'Interactive Media Project of the Year'

Healthy Schools is a government funded scheme designed to set standards of health which should be promoted in schools. The website www.healthm8.net has been designed to support this and be an interactive resource for both teachers and students, giving them greater awareness of topical issues such as sex and relationships, drugs, smoking and alcohol.

''The Healthm8 website provides pupils with relevant, factual information in order for them to be able to make important, informed choices in their lives. It answers a lot of those embarrassing questions pupils are always reluctant to ask in front of their peers. The site also contains a wealth of information accessible for both pupils and teachers alike!! I use the site often in my PSHE lessons on a SMART Board and as it is interactive it brings a bit of fun into the classroom.''
