hallucinating

Hallucinations affect about 25% of people undergoing major alcohol withdrawal. The most common type of hallucinations experienced are visual, although some are tactile or feeling.

People will actually feel sensations on their skin, as well as see things around them. Sometimes people suffer auditory or hearing hallucinations, but these are less common.
